Heidi Arneson
Heidi Arneson of Minneapolis creates her hilarious and humiliating take on elementary education in her performance monologue Degrade School, Thursday May 1 in the Colonial Arcade Ballroom. Arneson received a Bush Artist Fellowship in 1996 and presents her work all over the United States with wide acclaim. In Degrade School, she assumes the roles of 25 different characters, from the principal to a kindergartener, complete with original costumes. Arneson describes the ups and downs of grade school to spark in the audience memories and emotions of their own grade school experience.
