Sally Hudak and Thaddeus Root
Cleveland artists Sally Hudak and Thaddeus Root experiment in communication between artist and artist and audience. In their untitled 12 hour action starting at 7 a.m. on Monday May 5, Hudak and Root employ sewing machines and bolts of white cloth in their attempt to define communication. Sending messages sewn in a huge loop of fabric the length of the Colonial Arcade, they influence and are influenced by the audience's interaction with them. Sally Hudak and Thaddeus Root performed Discording as Featured Artists in PAF95 and have done performance with elementary school audiences.
