David Alexander Jones
David Alexander Jones from Brighton, England fuses the
sensuality of the male body with symbolic domesticity Monday May 5
in his six hour lyrical performance entitled The Ebb. In the Colonial
Arcade Ballroom within a triangle of 45 household buckets, Jones, totally
nude, stands like a statue and carefully and slowly pours milk from one
bucket to another. He assumes a motionless pose on the balls of his feet
until his legs give out and the performance ends. David Alexander Jones
has been in many exhibitions in the United Kingdom and received his BA
from the University of Wales Institute at Cardiff.
