Invitational Artist from Toronto, Stefanie Marshall returns to the Colonial Arcade Ballroom on Wednesday May 7 with Swara Chintamani, an inquiry into the voice as breath, the breath as body, and the body as a vessel. Her performance functions as a ceremony to push the limits of the spiritual voice. A floor littered with human hair, a circle of lit candles and walls covered with text are part of an installation where Marshall creates her two hour performance ritual. Stefanie Marshall has recently directed the First Annual Spank Performance Art Event in Toronto and has been seen in PAF95 and 96.
