André Stitt
André Stitt of London brings his seething "akshun" entitled The Ark (L'Arche) to Cleveland Wednesday May 7 in the Colonial Arcade Ballroom. Stitt deals with mental and physical distress, emotional loss and miscommunication as he pits human against human against nature. In the space is a wooden telegraph pole that bisects a wooden table which he repeatedly attacks, beats and cleans to create a feeling of death and the passage of time. André Stitt is currently curating an upcoming exhibition of the history of performance art in Northern Ireland.
