Cleveland Press Collection

CLAY HERRICK SLIDE COLLECTION -
Donated in May, 1991, by Clay Herrick, author of "Cleveland Landmarks." The collection consists of some 100 pamphlets, brochures, books, and photographs which have been integrated into the regular collections. The most important element is some 6,000 slides. These are one-of-a-kind shots of various buildings in Cleveland. Some show the construction of buildings.

These are kept in the Cleveland section of the slide collection in Fine Arts & Curriculum Materials. They are of value for Urban Studies and Art History classes. They came in cardboard mounts in plastic sheet holders.
